Las Vegas Turns 100 Years Old. John Krondes and The Jordanaires with the Elvis "Hit Making Team" Presents the "Centennial City" With This Gift Of Song!
Los Angeles, CA / New York, NY -- Just imagine..."Sin City" Las Vegas,
"The City of Entertainment" as a stopover for Spanish Trader wagons
traveling from Santa Fe to Los Angeles in the 1700's. Just as unfathomable,
is the idea that just 150 years ago, the first settlers, 30 Mormon pioneers
came to live in the Las Vegas valley. Just as hard to visualize is the Wild
& Crazy Vegas Strip as we know it, with all the lights and commotion, as
a dirt road with a hand full of backroom gambling joints, with the then famous
"Bugsy" Siegel mafia "Flamingo Hotel". While your sipping
Margaritas on the sprawling pool decks of the Monstrous Mandalay Bay or Hard
Rock Hotel, try to envision this; the lounge chair you're now sunbathing on,
may be the location of a previous tent housing one of the first residents of
the new city of Las Vegas, a tent city in its kickoff year of 1905.
Holy Mackrel, how fast things change! Now on the eve of its 100th Birthday,
Las Vegas has about 2 Million residents and 37 Million visitors each year versus
a cow town with 800 residents in 1911, a measly 94 years ago.
Even more cockamamie is the thought of "America's Party City" Las
Vegas without a Party Theme Song! Wonders never cease and miracles still happen
now and then. Miraculously, The Elvis Presley "Hit Making Team" has
come to the rescue. Over the last year and half, literally all of the Elvis
Presley Music Entourage has wound up back in the studio recording new music
with the young singer/songwriter John Krondes, along with his partners in song,
The Jordanaires. This is the first time since Elvis' death in 1977 that the
Presley "Hit Makers" have made new recordings together.
Elvis composer Paul Evans and singer/songwriter John Krondes co-wrote "Vegas
In The Morning" as a birthday present for the "Centennial City"
Las Vegas. The only previous trademark song for Las Vegas ironically was "Viva
Las Vegas" performed by Elvis and the Jordanaires, the very same Jordanaires
that sing with John Krondes and the Sweet Inspirations on the new Vegas Party
Theme "Vegas In The Morning" some 40 years later.
The Magic of Elvis' Music Is Back! John Krondes and the Jordanaires have been
joined in this exciting music project by the "TCB" Band, the Elvis
Memphis Studio Band the "Memphis Boys", the Sweet Inspirations as
well as many other talented musicians who played with the King. Elvis Presley's
best friend, Joe Esposito has joined the team and has been appointed Chairman
of the Elvis "Hit Making Team" by fans the world over.
If you've ever walked the strip in Las Vegas, you'll know that John Krondes
and the "Hit Making Team" have captured the fun and the excitement
of "Tinsel Town". Oscar B. Goodman, Mayor of Las Vegas called "Vegas
In The Morning" fabulous and proclaimed "It is a great song that captures
the spirit of the City of Las Vegas". This high-energy, adrenaline-pumping
recording is quickly becoming the party theme for Las Vegas - and the rest of
the world-wide party nation.
Happy 100th Birthday Las Vegas! John Krondes and the Jordanaires along with
the rest of the Elvis "Hit Making Team" salute you and wish Las Vegas
100 More Years of Parties, Fun and Success.
So won't you... Take Me Back To "Vegas In The Morning"..."Cause
All My Friends Are Waiting There And The Lights Are Always On!"
