Chatsworth, CA – The Stanton Group, announced today that they have appointed
Timothy Dorwart as the new Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Cerwin-Vega
and KRK. Mr. Dorwart will report to Dave Froker, CEO of The Stanton Group.
A seasoned veteran, with 25 years experience, Dorwart has tenured with the
Bose Corporation and DMX. Mr. Dorwart has extensive experience in establishing
direct and indirect business to business sales, marketing, product development,
project management, organizational development, engineering, executive business
management/planning, business acquisition, business modeling and business re-organization.
In addition, Dorwart has managed the profit and loss results for major national/multi-national
corporations as well as multi-million dollar capital, expense and revenue results.

In the1980’s, Timothy Dorwart joined the Professional Products group
at the Bose Corporation where he held positions in sales and sales management,
selling professional audio speakers and electronics for live performance and
fixed engineered audio systems. During his tenure with the Bose Corporation,
he held other prestigious positions such as: National Field Sales Manager, responsible
for the U.S. distribution of Bose products; and Director of Professional Products,
North America.
Mr. Dorwart was also responsible for building the sales, marketing, and distribution
of Bose products throughout the 1990’s; pioneering innovative selling
strategies and selling channels driving double-digit growth in revenues and
profitability for the company; heading Bose’s residential installation
business, where he lead the turn around to profitability of this important area
of Bose’s home audio division; and managing the marketing and product
development for Bose Pro.
In mid 2000 Mr. Dorwart joined DMX, one of the nations leading systems integration
and music programming companies, as the lead development and growth manager
of the DMX’s systems integration business.
