Frondelli Chooses TC Electronic Reverb 6000 for HDNet Series

Noted engineer Michael Frondelli has chosen the TC Electronic Reverb 6000 to mix the new series “On Stage at World Cafe Live!” for HDNet.

World Café Live will air Sundays at 10:30 Eastern beginning April 16, 2006. The series is shot on high definition video at Philadelphia's World Cafe Live! venue and mixed in 5.1 surround sound at Encore Studios in Burbank, CA.

Over 13 artists are performing for the 2006 World Café Live! Series, including, Rhett Miller, Living Colour, The Knack, Rita Coolidge, Steve Forbert and Marshall Crenshaw. HDNet, launched in 2001, broadcasts exclusively in 1080i HD and is available through satellite providers DIRECTV and DISH Network and numerous cables systems, including Adelphia, Charter and Time-Warner.

"The show is shot in a beautifully designed room with a balcony. It's a great sounding space and I wanted to bring that vibe to the mix" said mixer Michael Frondelli. "I had previously seen and heard the Reverb 6000 at numerous sessions so once I had a chance to try it on a session I knew it would be useful on a 5.1 HD broadcast. The 6000 is simply the smoothest reverb available and perfect for the wide variety of artists on this series."

System 6000 by TC Electronic is the professional stereo and multichannel processing tool for music, post and broadcast production. With internal double-precision processing, superb jitter rejection and reference quality AD and DA converters, no other digital processor on the planet comes close to the resolution and performance of System 6000. The System 6000 platform now provides two entry points: Reverb 6000 and Mastering 6000, each of them being upgradeable with a wide range of optional processors.

TC Electronic, Inc. (TCUS ) distributes TC Electronic, TC-Helicon, Dynaudio Acoustics, and Lab.gruppen products in the US and Canada.
