Sound Engineering Placement at Olympic Studios

Hi Christopher

I can confirm Phil Collins had a work placement here the week of April 29th - May 3rd.

He was extremely helpful and fitted in well with the team at Olympic.

Hopefully he gained a good insight into how a Studio runs on a day to day basis.

Olympic Studios

London’s legendary Olympic Studios has been host to some of the greatest recording sessions in history, including albums from The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Lez Zeppellin. As 5-time winner of Music Week’s Best recording Studio Award it is clear that Olympic remains firmly at the heart of the London recording industry.

The Olympic Studios complex offers recording, mixing (including multichannel/5.1) together with the fully equipped programming and pre-production suites. Each of these is supported by an experienced pool of in-house engineers and programmers.

Designed without compromise to ensure technical excellence, optimum privacy and comfort for clients, revolutionary studio designer Sam Toyoshima has created spacious, practical and inspiring control rooms and recording spaces. Each studio has its own separate lounge which, together with the restaurant, garden and tennis court/5-aside football pitch, provide much required R&R.
