FabFilter announces RTAS versions of all plug-ins
At Musikmesse 2007, FabFilter
announces RTAS versions of FabFilter Timeless, Twin, Volcano, Simplon, and
One.
With this upcoming release, Pro Tools users will finally be able to use
all FabFilter plug-ins. FabFilter will demonstrate the new RTAS versions at
Musikmesse (hall 5.1, D48). The final release is currently planned for the
end of April.
With this release, all plug-ins will also receive small bug fixes and
updates for the AU and VST versions. In addition, FabFilter One will be
extended with MIDI program change handling, improved knob behavior and
interactive help hints.
The RTAS versions and updates will be free for existing users. For new
users, FabFilter Timeless and Twin cost $129 (US), Volcano costs $119 (US),
Simplon is $79 (US) and One $59 (US). All plug-ins and various bundles are
available for purchase via the FabFilter shop at www.fabfilter.com/shop or
at a local dealer.
All FabFilter plug-ins run on Windows or Mac OS X (Universal) and are
available as VST, RTAS, or Audio Units versions. System requirements are
either Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 with SSE-capable processor and a VST host
or Pro Tools, or Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or higher, G4/G5 or Intel
processors, and an Audio Units host, VST host, or Pro Tools.
