"Lab,gruppen's Certified Pre-Owned program works much like those offered by major automobile manufacturers, but in this case the customer can choose fully-guaranteed amplifiers from a worldwide inventory," said Ken Blecher, director of sales for TC|US, Lab.gruppen's North American distributor. "Certified Pre-Owned amplifiers will be listed on the website by their current owners, and buyers can register to view. All amplifiers will be condition-rated and age-identified so the buyer can assess their value, and negotiate directly with the seller. And, if a desired amp package is not immediately available, we will automatically keep registered buyers updated on new inventory additions."
Any amplifier sold through www.labgruppencertified.com will be warranted for three years from the date of purchase. The Certified Pre-Owned warranty covers all parts AND labor required to repair an amplifier in the unlikely event that a manufacturing fault should occur. Lab.gruppen, in cooperation with its distributors will, where possible, additionally offer loan amplifiers while any problem is rectified.
"We hope that the new program will help make Lab.gruppen amplifiers available to a new and even broader range of customers," continued Blecher. "Although there is already a healthy market for used Lab.gruppen amps, being able to choose from an inventory of manufacturer-warranted amplifiers will provide the highest level of security for the customer and enhance the already attractive proposition of a high quality Lab.gruppen product at a bargain price."
