Wusikstation V4.0.2 Update Released
Important Note: this updates requires at least V3.1.4 prior to installation.
We just added a Demo version that everybody can use to test the new V4 features. Mind you that you need a working V3.1.4 Full or Demo version to run V4.
We already sent the links to all users who purchased V4 and also all Wsm users. If you didn't receive an email from us with the download url, contact us via support with a proof-of purchase. (V4 receipt or last Wsm subscription payment)
Note that for this V4.0.2 version, we updated the wIni files for the Multi-Out version, the other wIni files remain untouched.

This update consists of two ZIP files, there's no Installer this time.
"Wusikstation_V402_Update.zip" - This is the actual update. It consists of all VST DLL files, and the according new .wIni files. Keep those together, as our code will try to read the .wIni files from the same location the .dll files are stored at. The first time you run each of the three included VST dlls, it will request where the data files are located at, and it will ask you for the serial-number once you open the GUI. Remember to do both things, otherwise the plugins won't start/run/play.
"HQ_Pianos_Update.zip" - This is only for users who own the Two Gig Collection, or the HQ Piano Collection. Inside the ZIP file you will see a TXT file with instructions on how to perform the HQ Pianos update.
The Two Gig Collection installer files were NOT updated for now, we will handle this on future updates.
If you have problems right at the start of the pluging, could be that the host is blocking our popup-window were we ask where the data files are stored at. In that case, you can edit the .wIni files, and place the complete folder under "Data Path", EG: C:Wusikstation Data - just leave the line length at 1024 characters. (spaces) And be sure that you don't add an extra empty line after the path, so SN is the next line.

- Stereo Layer support. WusikSND files updated to handle stereo sound.
- Hability to disable Wavesequencing, turning a W1/W2 layer into a regular layer. Saves CPU usage. On the WSeq editor, for the speed, select HZ and set Speed to Zero. It will show "off".
- 128 Voices per Layer. Previous versions were 16. Old presets will still retain the number of voices per layer, no changes there. 128 voices are specially used with Piano sounds, or with long release pads. Just mind about extra CPU usage.
- New .wIni file for storing registry information. No longer uses the Windows Registry Database.
- New ModMatrix Summing Option: Max (will get the higher value when summing one or more sources to the same destination)
- New ModMatrix Summing Option: Min (save as above, but the lower value will be used)
- New ModMatrix Summing Option: Boolean>0 (value is only used when the input is higher than zero, otherwise zero is output)
- New ModMatrix Summing Option: Bool>0Max (same as above, but instead of a zero output, a max (100%) output is used)
- New ModMatrix Destination: Stereo Polyphonic Panning (only works with stereo layers) Useful for using with Piano sounds, to get a fake stereo effect out of original stereo WusikSND files.
- HQ Pianos updated. All presets now support up to 128 notes. Low CPU usage 16 note presets were also created. The Fake-Stereo now uses only one layer. We also added a NewAge preset with longer release and extra reverber.
- New Fade-Out and Fade-In when changing presets via the File-Browser, < > buttons and also when changing a scene with Forte (and similar hosts). This will remove any click and pops during the start and end of any preset-loading.

Wusikstation V4 Engine-Only Update Prices:
With any option, you will receive all updates under V4.x.x. This is only valid for users who already got V3. If you have V1/V2, you need to upgrade to V3 first or contact us directly so we can give you a fair deal. Notice that the development of V4 will happen during 2007/2008.
Special note for Wsm users: Just keep in mind that future updates will only be available if you keep your subscription. So if you cancel your subscription right after downloading the update, you will not get the next update, even for the bug-fixes.
