Grammy Award Winning Engineer Marc Lee Uses the PreSonus ADL 600 on 50 Cent Albu

Baton Rouge Louisiana, September 20, 2007 – Marc Lee, a long time fan of tube gear from Anthony DeMaria welcomed the chance to try the DeMaria designed PreSonus ADL 600 Preamplifier.

“I’ve been a longtime fan of Anthony DeMaria’s compressors, so I jumped at the chance to test out this mic pre from PreSonus. I’ve used it on everything from the stereo bus of a reggae mix to the stereo output of a drum machine on the upcoming 50 Cent album. The sound is very warm and punchy, just what I would expect from a three tube per channel DeMaria mic pre,” says Lee.

Lee won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2005 for Damian Marley’s-Welcome to Jamrock.

Lee added, “I like the trim so you don't have to conform to the 5db step increments that other mic pres give you and the four different mic impedances give me more options for getting better tone whether I'm using a DI or a microphone."

The ADL 600, designed by Anthony DeMaria and hand built in the USA by PreSonus, has been nominated for a TEC Award and is the flagship of the PreSonus preamp line.
