Frank Serafine Records SFX Libraries Using the PreSonus FP10

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, September 19, 2007 – Sound Designer Frank Serafine has just completed a 6 DVD expansion to The Serafine Collection, an extensive sound effect library used as a source for movies, commercials, theme parks, and more.

The new sound additions were recorded exclusively using the PreSonus FP10 (formerly FirePod) and include foley, human/animal, industrial, Sci-Fi, Vehicles, and water sound effects.

Serafine also used the FP10 recently while recording Cinematic Ignition and Rise, Shine & Shock, CDs of cinematic cues to be used in movie trailers.

Serafine’s credits spread to all areas of the entertainment industry including feature films (Star Trek, Poltergeist II, Addams Family, and more), video games, television shows, interactive entertainment, commercials, and music production.

“PreSonus is the affordable solution for my music, sound design editing, and multimedia mixing studios. Alongside the audio post advancements and standardizations made with Apple's new Soundtrack Pro 2 and Logic Pro 8, both the FireStudio and FP10 hardware interfaces offer my studios 24 bit/96kHz resolution quality, the most flexible patching and surround routing design available while simply eliminating the ever ongoing need for those expensive sound cards, expansion chassis and custom cable snakes,” says Serafine.
