California digital media companies can now send their employees to Video Symphony for up to 80 hours of intensive, hands-on training without direct cost to employer or employee. All Digidesign Certification courses are available.
Eighty hours is sufficient classroom and practice time to accomplish the sequence of Digidesign certified classes, from Intro to Operator Certificate for either music or post with tests included. Pro Tool Operators can also upgrade to Expert with ETP support for their training.

PT310M and PT310P – Expert Certificate for music and post
California's Employment Training Panel (ETP) funding is provided to help keep this state's high-tech and digital media industries competitive in today's challenging global marketplace.
Last year, ETP awarded a $1.2 million contract to Video Symphony so companies can readily upgrade their employees.
In addition to Digidesign's Certification series, Video Symphony has launched an exclusive series of sound-for-cinema classes. They expand and amplify the course material of the PT210P Certification class. These classes can also be supported by ETP funding.

PT235 – Editing Backgrounds with Pro Tools
PT265 – Dialogue and ADR Editing with Pro Tools

The ETP application process is simple and straightforward. For employers, approval usually takes just a few days. Then the company can send qualified employees for training at any time.
