Garage scene in London in the early 2000s. In late 2005 and early

magazines such as The Wire and word of mouth via the web.
Interest in Dubstep grew after BBC Radio 1 DJ Mary Anne Hobbs
championed the genre, devoting a show to the genre entitled Dubstep
Warz in January 2006, and later releasing Warrior Dubz, a compilation
album.
