Hollywood, FL, August 18, 2004 – Stanton has announced its sponsorship of the KOOL MIXX DJ competition. Now in its sixth year, KOOL MIXX is a nationwide contest that pits the country’s finest DJ talent against each other in no-holds-barred battles. This year’s KOOL MIXX competition has been held in 13 cities, with the finalist from each regional competition being invited to the nation final event, being held at Chicago’s Vic Theatre.

Winners of each regional KOOL MIXX battle were awarded $2,500, and the winner
of the national finals will walk away with a $10,000 check from KOOL. Additionally,
KOOL is contributing another 20% of the winning purse in each round to a non-profit
agency chosen by the winner.
