TC Electronic Steps Up Product Management and Public Relations

Risskov, Denmark - August 25th, 2004 - TC Electronic is pleased to announce the addition of two new hires and a position change at the company's headquarters in Denmark. Product Management is being reinforced by two new Product Managers, Michael Munch and Thomas Valter. Valter, who began working at TC in 2003 as International PR Manager in the Marketing Department, will be succeeded by newcomer Troels Oestergaard.

In the role as Product Manager, Thomas Valter (34) will oversee all studio-related products with a primary emphasis on the PowerCore platform. Thomas Valter has a comprehensive background working with computers and music, and studied music with focus on studio recording at the University of Aarhus. In addition to teaching computer recording at the Royal Academy of Music and other music institutions, Valter served as Editor at the Danish music magazine Musikeren, and is still busy as a performing musician.

Michael Munch (41) has accepted the role of product manager for PA and installation products, and as such he will be in charge of developing and strengthening the company's position in these markets. Munch brings 18 years of experience in the sound and music industry to his new position, as well as a degree in Media Design. He has worked with an array of the greatest pop and rock artists over the last two decades, and has been responsible for the monitor sound on numerous events at home and abroad, e.g. Africa and Asia. Munch has also been a regular visitor at TC Electronic, where he has collaborated on various development projects.

The new International PR Manager at TC Electronic is Troels Oestergaard (33), MA and Journalist from the Danish School of Journalism. He will be working in the Marketing Department and be in charge of press releases, newsletters, and contact to the audio media. Prior to his employment at TC Electronic, Oestergaard held a position as Editor and Copywriter at an advertising agency. As a guitarist, Oestergaard has played on several smaller stages in Denmark.

Uffe Kjems Hansen, VP of Product Management at TC Electronic, says: "With Thomas Valter and Michael Munch joining our team, the Product Management Department at TC Electronic takes another step forward. We strongly believe that the PowerCore will play a major role in the future of computer recording, and Thomas Valter is definitely the right person to further develop this field at TC Electronic. As for the PA and Installation market, we are very happy to welcome a colleague, who has so many years of hands-on experience from the music industry, as is the case with Michael Munch."

Lene Mark Torstensen, International Marketing Manager at TC Electronic, says: "Troels Oestergaard has had an excellent starting point, taking over from Thomas Valter, with whom he will be working closely together also in the future. In connection with the job as our new International PR Manager, Oestergaard has the perfect background, both in terms of his education and professional experience, and his long time activity as a musician."
