Audio Courses Online School has made the decision to “cap” its prices at the already published prices of $945 USD for its City & Guilds 1820 Sound Engineering Level 4 course. The course has proved to be a complete success, to date, with our current enrolled students working hard towards their exams, scheduled for the first week of June.
We have decided to keep our prices fixed for this academic year, as we feel we are in a strong position to compete and attract a wider audience at the current level. Raising the course fees would simply close the door to many of our potential students.
Distance education does not come cheap to any serious learning provider, such as Audio Courses, and we aim to deliver and support exceptionally high standards of learning. It is our support for learning and the creation of our learning community that sets us out as unique! Our City & Guilds 1820 Sound Engineering Level 4 course specialises in two modules:
· Recording Techniques
· Music Technology
These modules, and more importantly, the way in which Audio Courses supports the learning for them, are simply invaluable to the up and coming audio engineer. The main thrust of learning is actually carried out LIVE, whereby our students and the Production Advisors meet online in our virtual classroom. This is serious technology at work, and simply put, great fun! I know for a fact that our current students look forward to the live sessions each week and enjoy the sense of community that has become established. It will be a shame when the course ends simply because we will all miss this interaction.
Sure enough there is a price on this technology for us as a learning provider. The hardware/software configurations and not to mention professional expertise does come at a price, we have our own dedicated server where students upload and download their practical tasks and this has proved a valuable asset for student satisfaction. However, despite this, Audio Courses is not increasing its fees for this academic year.
