POMPANO BEACH, Fla.- Illinois Online Network, Illinois Virtual Campus, and Academic Outreach Add Real-time Interaction with Elluminate Live!

of departments in the University of Illinois have selected Elluminate Live!
Academic Edition(TM) to add synchronous content to a variety of distance learning
initiatives.
Illinois Online Network (ION), a statewide faculty development initiative administered
by the University of Illinois, will integrate Elluminate Live! in its online
courses and offer it to instructors for synchronous lectures, virtual office
hours, and archived recordings. Illinois Virtual Campus, a partnership of Illinois
colleges and universities that provides comprehensive information about available
online courses as well as support services for online learners throughout the
state, will use Elluminate Live! with its IVCTutor program. Academic Outreach,
a unit within the office of Continuing Education at the University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign, will also share use of the Elluminate Live! license.
