Mike Lahaie born and raised in Sudbury Ontario Canada.
Mike grew up listening to the Beatles and 50’s music along with some country and some rock. Mike’s favorite music is the Beatles, Donna Summer, and Jean Michel Jarre his favorite Producer is Daniel Lanoix from Canada. Mike took AudioCourses City & Guilds 1820 Sound Engineering Part 3 in Spring semester 2003.Mike’s full time job is working as a mechanical technician in an underground mine in Sudbury. His musical career started at sixteen through guitar and songwriting in a band. Mike opened Northfork Recording Studios North of Sudbury in 2000. Mostly everything Mike picked up was from reading books until he took the City & Guilds 1820 Sound Engineering Part 3 with AudioCourses Online Recording School, 2003 spring session.
In his spare time Mike volunteers his time at the Confederation Secondary school recording studio, and he plays music for the elderly at the homes around the Sudbury area. Mike also records people that normally can’t make it to a big studio.
Now that AudioCourses School is over for Mike, he is going to concentrate on his own projects and attend more seminars.
Mike has a few simple rules:
1. “Always say something good about someone else every person on this earth has something good to offer.”
2. "We are only but a dot in time when we live on this earth so lets make the best of it.”
3. “Because I live in Canada in the Boreal Forest, never piss into the wind.”
Mike States: "Overall I enjoyed it, I made some new friends and wish to thank my wife for being so patient with me behind closed doors which she still insists I was playing computer games and watching porno sites. I really enjoyed it and I looked at things from a different angle from actually playing the music. A lot of good questions”
