as electronic pioneers Jean Michel Jarre, Space, Mike Oldfield, Vangelis, Tangerine

of ambient, electronic, and orchestral music.
In an interview, Tiuniaev said, “Artificial Symphony defines the sound
I tried to create on this album... It's also a message. A message for everyone
who likes music. People underestimate the importance of acoustic sound these
days. Guys like Mozart and Beethoven composed wonderful music, and it was an
outstanding experience for me to combine the symphonic elements of classical
music with the atmospheric pads and soundscapes modern digital synthesizers
can offer.”

"Alex and I began talking in 2003 about his music," says John Luttrell,
President and Founder of OtterSong Records. "Through a series of demos,
mixes, and then the final tracks, Alex revealed a substantial work that I really

with definite Russian influences, and blended that with a wonderful ambience.

Tiuniaev is involved in several projects, including a sequel to Artificial
Symphony, an album of classic electronic space music, and rock band. He lives,
composes, and performs in Moscow, Russia.
