AUDIO-TECHNICA ADDS AUTOMATIC FREQUENCY SCANNING TO NEW 3000ASERIES WIRELESS SYS

This content is brought to you by Audiocourses dot com

Audio-Technica has uprated its 3000 Series UHF True Diversity Wireless Systems with the addition of Automatic Frequency Scanning functionality, as found on its flagship 4000 and 5000 Series systems.

The new 3000A 200 frequency agile, UHF wireless system, represents a high performance, professionally spec’d, mid-budget wireless solution, for AV rental, sound touring, theatre sound, sound installation, and broadcast production applications. The inclusion of A-T’s Automatic Frequency Scanning technology greatly enhances operation, automatically searching and setting the best available frequency in the spectrum, avoiding interference and intermodulation problems.

In particular, when operating multi-channel systems, the function provides for interference free frequency configuration of each receiver at the touch of a button. Up to 16 simultaneous systems per frequency band are compatible, for a total maximum of 32 simultaneous systems across two bands.

The 3000A Series features Audio-Technica's Digital Tone Lock Squelch, plus an easy-to-read LCD information display on each receiver unit, which provides convenient visual indications of settings and operation status. The new ATW-R3100 receiver benefits from a newly designed high-specification front-end filtering system, along with the latest Audio-Technica 1/2-wave antenna technology to maximise both simultaneous frequency use and range.

The ATW-R3100 also features an all-metal housing for superior shielding, as well as dual independent receiver sections for true diversity operation.

The 3000 Series is comprised of two system options: the ATW-3110A UHF UniPak™ Transmitter System, comprising the ATW-R3100 true diversity receiver and the ATW-T310 UniPak body-pack transmitter; and the ATW-3141A UHF Handheld Dynamic Microphone System, which also includes the ATW-R3100 receiver, plus the ATW-T341 handheld microphone/transmitter.

Other system features include:

€ Balanced and unbalanced audio output jacks

€ Soft-touch controls on all components, and step-through menus.

€ Side-by-side mounting of two receivers in a single 19" rack space

€ ATW-T310 UniPak™ transmitter includes Super Hi-Z input that provides optimum load for guitar pickups

€ ATW-T341 handheld microphone/transmitter features the Artist Elite® AE4100 cardioid dynamic element
