Update fixes compatibility issue for TDM users
(Dec. 16, 2003) -- Emagic has released an update for Logic Platinum, the company's audio production suite. The new 6.3.3 version is a minor update, addressing compatibility issues for TDM users. It's available now for Mac OS X.
Logic Platinum is Emagic's flagship audio production system. It offers MIDI and audio editing capabilities, as well as film and sync features. It includes 32-bit signal processing, a surround sound digital mixer (up to 7.1 channels), sample-accurate automation and more than 50 effects plugins. It also provides integration features for DigiDesign Pro Tools and supports sample rates up to 192 kHz at 24 bits. The new 6.3.3 update fixes a compatibility issue for TDM users discovered since the release of version 6.3.2, an update targeted specifically toward Mac OS X 10.3 users. That previous update also added improvements for working with Emagic's EXS24 mk II sampler, including the ability to import CD-ROM-based sample libraries in the Akai format; the addition of the DeConvolution tool for Space Designer in Panther; and the ability to adjust Delay Compensation manually in Panther.
