has recognized it as the 14th fastest growing company in America in 2005. The
list, which is comprised of public companies, appears in the September issue
of FORTUNE, currently available on newsstands and at www.fortune.com. Additionally,
Sonic Solutions was recently ranked number 6 on the list of the fastest growing
Fortune Small Businesses in the July/August 2005 issue and 34th in the Business
2.0 100 Fastest Growing Technology Companies June 2005 issue.

To compile the list, FORTUNE worked with Zack’s Investment Research.
Criteria used to select the fastest growing companies included market capitalization
of at least $50 million on June 30, 2005; revenues of at least $50 million for
the most recent four quarters, ending with the first quarter of 2005; annualized
revenue growth of at least 25% for the past three years; and, annualized earnings-per-share
growth of at least 25% for the past three years. Companies were then ranked
according to compound annual growth in earnings, revenues, and finally total
annualized return.
