This content is brought to you by Audiocourses dot com

ANAHEIM, Calif. Steinberg, the audio group of Pinnacle Systems, is kicking off 2004 by showcasing its latest innovations at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim, CA (Hall A, Booth # 6524). 2004 marks a significant milestone in the history of computer music technology -- Steinberg's 20-year anniversary at the forefront of the digital production revolution.

"For twenty years Steinberg has been associated with major technical achievements that have advanced the art and science of audio production," said Chuck Vaughan, President and CEO of Pinnacle Systems. "As the audio group of Pinnacle Systems, a powerhouse in professional and consumer digital video production, Steinberg is better equipped than ever to move the industry forward. Nuendo(R), Cubase(TM), and our growing number of creative tools and hardware help professionals push the boundaries of music creation and production. We are very excited to showcase our latest audio solutions at NAMM."

New Products at NAMM

Steinberg is introducing a new line of integrated audio software/hardware solutions for desktop studios, mobile recording, audio editing and more. These Steinberg Media Solutions are designed to provide users a one-stop audio recording solution at a great price point. Each solution includes a full virtual recording studio with the renowned and familiar Cubase music production look, as well as a high-quality media interface. The first Steinberg Media Solutions offering is Cubase System | 4 -- a complete recording solution centered on Cubase SL, one of Steinberg's flagship product lines with a new USB audio production solution. Cubase System | 4 is expected to be available later this spring.

Steinberg is also presenting a new Virtual Studio Technology (VST) integration interface that allows users to further enhance programming for digital audio workstation (DAW) products to third party developers. The VST module architecture allows programming of musical instrument digital interface (MIDI) effect plug-ins for Nuendo and Cubase sequencers, giving the user more programming functionality. The new interface is available immediately for download at www.steinberg.net.
