Based on vintage hardware from Abbey Road Studios

MI7, the new concept for distribution of media and music production products and solutions, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden is pleased to announce distribution of the EMI TG12413 Limiter plug-in – the first TDM/RTAS product developed by US manufacturer Chandler Ltd., together with the world-renowned Abbey Road Studios. MI7 will distribute the EMI TG12413 plug-in throughout Europe (with the exception of the UK.

With the original hardware limiter featuring on the TG consoles used to record classic albums such as The Beatles "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon", this latest software version enables Pro Tools users to experience the same authentic sonic possibilities within the digital audio workstation environment.

The package includes two plug-ins, giving users a choice between classic and contemporary versions of the legendary compressor/limiter. The 1969 version attempts to recreate the original hardware, while the 2005 version is modelled on the Chandler TG1 hardware reissue, containing modifications to some aspects of the gain structure and control.

"We are very pleased to be working together with the Chandler/Abbey Road partnership," states MI7 CEO Per Larsen, "The EMI TG12413 plug-in represents a significant step in the integration of vintage sound quality with state-of-the-art technology. As such, it's a valuable addition to our product portfolio as we look to provide customers with the ultimate in high-quality, tailor-made working solutions."

Recommended retail pricing for the EMI TG12413 plug-in is € 659,- for the TDM version, and € 459,- for the LE version.
