Digidesign in Control with AMX at InfoComm 2007

This content is brought to you by Audiocourses dot com

InfoComm 2007, Anaheim, CA (June 21, 2007) ¾ Digidesign today announced that it has joined the AMX® InConcert® Partner Program and is now offering full AMX control system compatibility for the Digidesign® VENUE D-Show® and D-Show Profile™ live sound environments.

"AMX works closely with manufacturers like Digidesign to simplify the equipment integration process, enabling our dealers to design an AMX control system in less time," says Michael Peveler, vice president of Corporate Development. "Thanks to this partnership, integrating Digidesign's D-Show and D-Show Profile consoles into an AMX control system is virtually seamless for dealers."

Stewart Bennett, audio engineer and partner in Crossroads, Inc. in Dallas Texas, added, “The integration of the AMX Control Systems with Digidesign VENUE has given me the ability to wirelessly control and recall presets on my Digidesign console, along with any associated equipment. This allows for complete control of the entire system from one unified interface, giving me the freedom to evaluate and refine my presentation from any vantage point in the venue."

“This is a wonderful alignment,” states Digidesign Live Sound Market Manager Robert Scovill. “AMX offers a brilliant product for easily integrating control of our VENUE line and countless peripherals. This style of integration offers operators, and systems integrators alike, a level of control only limited by their imaginations. We look forward to working closely with AMX to take this style of integrated control to the next level.

Visitors to InfoComm will be able to see the benefits of the AMX InConcert Partner Program by visiting the Digidesign booth #8444, Hall A, and the AMX booth #4409, Hall B, where an AMX controller will be integrated with a VENUE D-Show Profile digital mixing console.
