Baton Rouge, LA, September 26, 2007 – Jim Odom, founder of PreSonus Audio Electronics, was featured on the latest Tab Benoit album “Power of the Pontchartrain.” Released in June, 2007, the album climbed to the number two spot on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart.
Benoit, a popular Louisiana blues musician, teamed up with Odom and the rest of the members of Louisiana’s LeRoux making “Power of the Pontchartrain” an immediate success. The ADL 600 from PreSonus was also used in the recording of the album’s vocal and guitar tracks.
Last year, Benoit and LeRoux recorded Benoit’s album, “Brother to the Blues” which earned a Grammy nomination.
Odom has been playing with LeRoux since 1981, when he joined as their lead guitar player.
