May 8, 2008, Santa Barbara, CA: The twisting paths of three long-time music industry figures have once again crossed as MV Pro Audio founders Michael Marans and Dino Virella announced their renewed association with Chandra Lynn of Glow Marketing.
Marans and Virella, who distribute the acclaimed Redmatica Srl and Waldorf Music GmbH brands in the Americas, have partnered with Lynn, who heads a full-service strategic marketing company. Their joint objective is to maximize market awareness and penetration for the MV Pro Audio brands.
Virella was visibly moved when he first saw Lynn at the reunion meeting--six years after he had worked hand-in-hand with her establishing U.S. market dominance for the Focusrite brand. "Don't say anything, just hug me," he beamed, his eyes dewy with joy. Marans was equally effusive, as he wistfully recalled the heady days of 1994 when he and Lynn developed and launched Keyboard Magazine's first on-line presence, Keyboard Central.
"Frankly, it was a bit embarrassing," recalled Lynn. "Two grown men getting all teary-eyed and everything. It was like living a bad episode of General Hospital."

Ever the consummate professional, Lynn cut short the reminiscing, pulled out her laptop, and presented a thorough rundown of her proposed strategy--a presentation cleverly peppered with subliminal images of Schweinsbraten and fettuccine.
"Anyone hungry?" queried Marans. Over lunch, which, not surprisingly, consisted of Schweinsbraten and fettuccine, the trio finalized their deal.
Under the terms of the arrangement, MV Pro Audio will develop a variety of brilliantly innovative sales and marketing tools and materials, and Glow Marketing will navigate the murky waters of padded expense accounts, ego massages, and totally unfair competitive practices.
"It's really great to be back working with these guys," noted Lynn. "Sure, the tears are annoying, but I get to represent truly outstanding, award-winning products, and down as much gelato as I can handle. Speaking of which--I gotta run. I'm late for my spinning class."
