Downloadable freeware music notation software offers new features, compatibility

freeware. Based on their award-winning Finale music notation software, NotePad

a feature introduced in Finale 2004, that transforms the playback of music entered
via the computer keyboard into an expressive performance, allowing arrangers
and composers to hear their work as it was intended to be performed.
