This content is brought to you by Audiocourses dot com

Bringing a voice to America's heartland, debate on industry issues and news of its quality programming in advance of its planned fourth quarter launch, The America Channel - the new non-fiction cable network focusing on real stories about real people - has launched an Internet audio service, The America Channel Radio, airing Fridays at noon ET/ 9 a.m. PT at www.americachannel.us and on World Talk Radio at www.worldtalkradio.com (Windows Media Player required).

The America Channel Radio hosts include acclaimed journalist Mary Alice Williams and entertainment personality Shawn Southwick-King. Other on-air contributors include Doron Gorshein, chairman and CEO of The America Channel, and Pantelis Michalopoulos of the DC-based law firm of Steptoe & Johnson, LLP, The America Channel's counsel for government affairs.

"The America Channel will tell the extraordinary stories of how ordinary Americans are transforming this country community by community. Across the country, people are supporting our mission; and they want a greater level of community, connectivity and authenticity on television," said Gorshein. "The America Channel Radio allows listeners to follow the story of The America Channel as it unfolds, and provide a taste of the programming to come."

TAC Radio consists of a one-hour weekly show initially airing live every Friday at noon ET/9 a.m. PT, and archived online for on-demand listening. Shows will include such features as topical/current events; human interest segments; profiles of ordinary heroes and communities from across America; trends in television content; a legislative segment discussing proposed legislation affecting the cable and media industries; a "producer's corner"; and a kids' forum with topical discussion on kids and the media. Guests will include cable and satellite executives, TAC television production partners, local American personalities, legislators, and others with an interest in the media industry.
