IT Marketing Executive Takes Up DTS Europe Marketing Position -Twyford, UK -
DTS (Digital Theater Systems, Inc.) (Nasdaq: DTSI) announces the appointment
of Annemieke Groeneveld to the position Director of European Marketing for DTS
Europe (Digital Theater Systems (UK) Ltd), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DTS.
Responsible for managing all DTS marketing activities in Europe, she is based
in the company’s Twyford, England office.
Annemieke joins DTS with extensive pan-European experience
in the IT and interactive television markets. She has previously held European
marketing positions with technology companies based in Germany and Spain, and
she relocated to the UK in 1996 while employed with global marketing
communications consultancy Brodeur Worldwide. She has also held European marketing
positions at Creative Labs Europe, Liberate Technologies and Cisco Systems.
Commenting on the appointment, Tony Nowak, Managing Director DTS Europe, stated:
“Annemieke comes to us with a skill set that will allow her to oversee
the ongoing development of DTS’ European marketing structure and activities.
In particular, she will identify and develop new marketing opportunities with
