RIO RANCHO, NEW MEXICO: Lectrosonics is introducing the TH4 telephone interface at the NSCA 2005 Expo in Orlando in March.
As a companion to the Lectrosonics DM Series DSP matrix processors, the TH4
integrates the telephone line signals into the mixing and routing matrix in
a seamless manner. Feature highlights include acoustic and line echo cancellers,
with both available on the pots and on the codec. Also included is a DTMF dialer,
a two-wire/four-wire bridging and far-end AGC. The echo-canceling window extends
up to 200 mS delay time.
The TH4 interconnects with the DM Series processors through the digital bus,
so phone line signals can be routed to any number of output channels in the
sound system. The DTMF dialer is also provided as a virtual signal source so
it can be routed to any number of outputs when dialing confirmation is
needed, or delivered to only the phone line. Six DSP filters and a
compressor are provided for the line input and phone line signals, and six
filters plus compressor and limiter are provided on the output.
