Digital Audio Leveler to debut at NAB Convention in Las Vegas

TransLanTech Sound, LLC of New York City today issued a press release announcing a new product, the "Ariane Sequel" Digital Audio Leveler, to debut at the NAB Convention in Las Vegas this coming April.

The Ariane Sequel preserves the famous lack of coloration and seamless extreme wide range control of its award-winning stereo-matrix analog predecessor, and adds independent two-channel and stereo-linked modes, protection limiting, input/output level metering, TCP/IP and RS-232 remote control, and software upgrade capability.

TransLanTech's David Reaves says: "The one question people have been asking, 'When will you make a digital Ariane?' is finally answered. With the 'Sequel,' we've tried to address every request that dedicated Ariane users have asked for in the past. But this new Ariane is targeted to satisfy a much broader base than just radio broadcast. TV production and transmission loudness control, music production and mastering, program distribution and web streaming are among the nearly unlimited possibilities. It's a real audio leveling 'Swiss Army knife.' Best of all, you STILL won't hear it work!!"

The "Ariane Sequel" will be available from multiple domestic and international distributors beginning concurrently with the NAB Convention.

TransLanTech's original analog "Ariane Stereo Audio Leveler," winner of Radio World's 2001 'Cool Stuff Award' will remain available for those users who require a purely analog leveling solution.

On January 13, 2005, TransLanTech Sound and Broadcast Warehouse of the UK announced a plan to create a technical and marketing support base for BW's American customers at TLT's New York City headquarters, and to share technical resources. The "Ariane Sequel" is the first fruit of that collaboration, making use of much of the know-how developed by BW for their ground-breaking DSP-X broadcast audio processor.
