We are pleased to announce the release of the next version of CurveEQ - a professional WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") linear-phase spline equalizer PC VST plug-in.

This version takes CurveEQ to the next level of plug-in quality. Now you can draw the EQ curve with your mouse freely, like you are drawing a line on a paper with a pencil. This is a powerful and easy way to equalize your program material and to make it sound the way you wish it to be.

For additional easiness of EQ curve editing CurveEQ now has undo, redo and invert EQ curve functions. CurveEQ introduces minimum-phase filters. Linear-phase filters tend to create a slight 'windy' sound--called pre-echo--which is not always desirable. Minimum-phase filters solve this problem by offering a pre-echoless filtering, having only the minimal phase shift coloration. Minimum-phase filtering is a high-quality equalization approach which is now made available for the professional PC digital audio workstations by CurveEQ. With the release of this version CurveEQ's SpectruMatch allows two times greater resolution for spectrum matching. This means you can transfer other songs' equalization picture to your songs much more precisely.

If you ever wanted to print the CurveEQ User's Manual, you now have the PDF document file at your disposal. It is a full-featured 18 page document which describes all features and functions of CurveEQ.

The most interesting CurveEQ features are:

* Actual filter's frequency response plot
* Ease of tuning
* Free-hand mode
* Input and output spectrum plots
* GearMatch technology
* SpectruMatch spectrum matching technology
* Vintage processor and saturator
* Linear phase filtering
* "A-to-B" comparisons
* Factory presets
* Highly optimized assembler DSP
* Mono -> Stereo, Stereo -> Stereo processing modes
* Support of sample rates up to 96 kHz
* 64-bit internal precision
* Multilevel undo
* Skin support
