Nova Scotia Shark Steaks
I was asking the question about preferred foods, knowing that Nova Scotia, canada, was kind of famous worldwide for its Clam Chowder, after all I had been there some years back and it seemed to be the all encompassing local dish then, clams here there and everywhere.
I actually really like Clam Chowder, but it seems that if you are a native from Nova Scotia, such as our student Paul Fooks then the deal is Shark Steaks or even Swordfish! - but, they import the sharks and the swordfish!
Using Google Maps Nova Scotia looks like this:

We zoomed in to see where Paul was getting his Shark from and it seems he does not have to go far to munch away on some tasty seafood. Berwick is right on the coast, I guess they just haul them sharks right up the street (after importing them).
This is Berwick in Nova Scotia, where student Paul Fooks digs on Shark.

Paul is enrolled on the City & Guilds 1820 Sound Engineering Part 3 course.
Hats off to you Paul and enjoy the Shark!
