Oddest thing you have seen on stage  Reply with quote

I have seen someone have a heart attack on stage. He wasn't old he was in his 20's I think that is the oddest thing I ahve seen on stage. Not including some really odd performers but that is another story all together.

I've seen many odd things, but along those similar lines:
I was recently doing a small festival in the area and one of the acts was a local summer camp jazz band. About three seconds after one of the kids' trumpet solo he passed out, hit his head, and started to convulse. If this wasn't bad enough, the conductor made light of the situation by being slightly facetious, and he never thought to actually help the kid or call for help. Within about ten seconds the boy was back on his feet and simply needed to sit the next song out, but I thought that the attitude of the adult that these kids' parents trust was more than a little odd...

Oh and once when i was doing FOH there was a comedy act on stage, they were getting no laughs and it was killing the show when suddenly the backstage engineer ran out and started breakdancing in a christmas hat then ran off again.

The thing was he couldnt breakdance so just flopped about on the floor alot, it was hilarious, he got cheered onto the stage by the audience in the finale.

one of those classic moments

I would have to say one guy went out on stage to get a chair, he bent down to pick it up, and another person hit him with a different chair, and the whole seat of his pants folded down like a flap Laughing

I once saw security escorting a couple off stage. The girl was in security coat, and the guy was holding is clothing over himself. I found out later they got caught in the act behind stage, and it was easier(and more fun) for the guards to bring the kids up and behind the act to get them out of there.
