What is the film content and how do you intend to record the audio onto the film?

What equipment do you have?

The more info you post here the greater chance of help.

Mood  Reply with quote

Well I'm not sure what you need exactly, I watched the film and yes it has suitable sounds already, although it could be a whole lot better IMHO.

You mention music, is this to aid to the suspense and tension?

I would suggest "listening" to some films of a similar niche, and take some notes down about the soundtrack at specific points, try not to get aborbed in the film but actually note what effect or style of music is creating the mood.

Also remember when adding music, timing is essential. Watch and listen closely movies when you are in a drama scene. Note the sad notes when the scene is sad, or the crescendo when the kiss happen. Or in horror movies, when in a big suspense, the music is here, but in the background. Or in those movies when sometimes there's no music at all. Just the actor and the background sound effects.

You see, I don't think there's a "perfect and absolute" mix in video. Just perfect timing. But note, it's my own opinion.
