As far as I am aware there are four things it could be:
1. the connection, i.e. the hinges. Often the hinges get week and make the connection loose. (likely)
2. monitor refresh rate, not sure if this is an issue with laptops, but worth a try.
3. nearby interference, is it still there when away form anything electrical/magnetic?
4. Old and tired. _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.

It's not the monitor refresh rate, its not old and tired (less than 6 months since new), not sure about thr hinges, as for nearby interference, my monitors are shielded, all that is near it is my soundcard, a mic preamp and controller keyboard.
would it flicker still because it was once interfered with magnetically? |

Take it to another room, or away from where it is and see if it is the same to eliminate that possibility. _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.

i've tried that and it still does it. it is not a constant problem, it only happens sporadically. |

IN that case it really does sound like the connection between the monitor and board, perhaps the hinges. I imagine it may flicker when you wobble it a little.

yeah it has guarantee, but NUSYSTEMS have told me they will get the manufacturer of the screen to contact me, which they haven't, and it has been about 2 weeks since i reported it. |
