Where are you based? - very often a google search will help. Also many audio related magazines give away free samples on a monthly basis.

huzai,

You can get a very good sounding acoustic kit for free here: http://naturalstudio.co.uk/ns_kit.html

It is available in multiple formats including a soundfont. In case you didn't updrade the free soundfont player that comes with Fruity, you can get an excellent one for free here: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/769.html

Good luck

I can recommend the natural studio drum kit. I've got my version running on my Linplug RM IV and it sounds cracking for Rock and metal.

Have fun

If you are looking for drum samples or instrument samples I have had the best luck using this place....

It has the most reasonable prices and the highest quality!

Just my 0.02 hope it helps.

Seems like an advert to me.  Reply with quote

Hey there P. (Wailing)

I did check out the site Platinum Samples, and it does offer two free sounds if you write a 100 word testimonial. Just doesn't seem free to me. So although, yes, I checked it out. No, I didn't use the samples. My 100 word testimonials are worth more. Yes, I am arrogant and full of over-inflated self-worth. I save my testimonials for deserving sites; like AC forums. Very Happy
