<seanm> now that means that the noise floor of loud  sections could be say 50Db below the signal level whilst during quiet sections 70 or 80Db below signal level

<`Rico> It should be done after all tracks have been copied to multitrack. if it is done before this some MIDI instruments will be out of tune with the tape
