What would be the point of having bluetooth sound equipment when bluetooth has a usable range of about 10m
Also imagine the cost in batteries to power an entirely bluetooth rig.
Also with a concert hall or studio full of bluetooth gear you would need a very complex control system to organise everything and the risk of interference must be high, u may also get companies created bluetooth gear that wont work with another companies gear, so say you want Mackie bluetooth speaker you would have to buy a mackie mixing desk and mackie microphones.
well theres my two cents
my answer to the poll would be "none of the above"

Yes we do ...
Would you not like your microphone to be compatible with your, hmm let's see, notebook computer bluetooth connection?
Or perhaps we could have a bluetooth mixing desk? _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.

Yes it could work, but I just dont think it would be stable enough and reliable enough. Im sure it would be kool, but mighty expensive. |

I'm merely talking conceptually here without diving into the specifications.
I'm sure initially it would be costly.
But with all the trends in wirless technologies and cable-less controlling it seems a logical step to make to me. _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.
