| Silly and simple question |
Ok just a little something thats doing my head in, and I cant work out why it isnt working. i have many tracks setup such as redrum and sum snythesizers going into main mixer. I create a dr.rex loop player, and make sure its wiered to mixer etc, open a loop up i want to use, Then to add that full loop to the track u click "send to track" button and it usually sends it to the sequenceer track. But this isnt working. whyyy?? i have the dr.rex sequencer track selected when i do this, and nothing goes to it. I relaly dont know why it wont work. Perhaps I am missing something really stupid here.

Did you ever get this resolved? _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.

| A 'thing' with rewire.. |
This seems to be a 'thing' with rewire. I think rewire disables that option in reason or something. Becuase it doesn't work for me to, and not just with Pro Tools, even with Logic and Nuendo.
So what I usually do is put my loops to track before I rewire reason - it's just an extra task of saving and reopening reason. |

Hmmm doesn't sound good, are we sure that is not fixed, that can't but hinder the creative flow. I mean we may want to dive back in and add a couple loops mid session. Hmm _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.

Yes it appears to be a bug with reason. Im not sure if has been resolved in reason 3.0. I havent tried. but when you run with rewire you cannot put it to track. And yes it does effect the creative flow. |

It isnt resolved in Reason 3 - because that's what I use. I searched the Propellerhead site and even tried googling it.. but can't find anything about it. Odd.. |
