unfortunately that seems to be whats happening in media as a whole at the moment, companies do their best to sell their products, whats a bit of bribery here and there if it will make you millions?
I dont think $10 million is much of a payment, they wouldve made much more than that through record sales, to a company the size of Sony BMG, that isnt a huge amount. _________________ If In Doubt...Hit It With a Hammer, If Still In Doubt... Find a Bigger Hammer. |

Thats the way its been ffor years. Said that it is against the law since 1960 or something? Well dozens of djs are bribed all the time, and obviously just dont say anything! Its common sense really. Pop artists need airplay to get their songs on the radio for ppl to hear and thus then buy. RFecord companies have a compelte seperate department simply called promotion, which solely deals with airplay. So wahts this fuss about "this is a huge scandal" ?
Its been going on for years and years, and anyone in the music business should know this! |
