Good quality cables and connectors are essential in a studio for a nice clean signal and good SNR. But do you think its worth to spend loads of money on those "great" cables companies like Monster market? The physics of it does make sense, but in audio does it make that much of an

I would say use Neutrik (or equivalent) when ive used cheaper connectors they have been difficult to solder, easy to break, and dont make good contact.
I dont think you need to spend an absolute fortune on cable, but buy the best you can afford, you will save alot of money by buying bulk(ish) cable and connectors and making them up yourselves, soldering neutrik XLR's is easy when you know the tricks of the trade. but thats another subject. I use Van Damme cable myself, i find it to be the best for price, quality, durability and flexibility, it also comes in a massive range of colours. although i believe you have to buy in minimum 50m reels if you want to get direct from van damme, you can buy less, but you will pay more per metre. _________________ If In Doubt...Hit It With a Hammer, If Still In Doubt...
