Sound Card  Reply with quote

Hmmm this doesn't sound like an Adobe Audition specific issue, sound more like a sound card computer issue.

What is your sound card?

defiance - this 'click' that you're getting - it's unclear whether this is a click thats being created by the computer or a click being picked up by your mic.

Is this click from the computer?

If so it sounds like a software and/or hardware issue thats causing the initial click. The click appearing in a different place however sounds very much like you are not using the editing tools correctly.
What you should be doing is either selecting the click in the edit view and highlighting, right click and then 'silence'. Alternatively you can zoom very very close in on the click and draw the error out.

What soundcard are you using?
