| WEEK 4 SUMMARY |

The topic for this week is Heavy metal rock.
RED GROUP: We researched about the pioneer of heavy metal "black sabbath". Each member of my group did different researches about the crew and brought it altogether at the end as a powerpoint presentation.
We used audio track, powerpoint presentation, lost of albums with images of front cover. Lyrics from one of their tarcks to show why they were called black sabbath.
The green group researched about a group called metallica. In their presentation the bad points I noticed are that;
bad introduction of their group, they make some mistakes, unclear explanation. The good points is an attractive background. I learnt from their presentation that, metallica was the first major band to sue napster and they were a rough and aggresive band.
The yellow group had to research about Zed Zepplin. They used good images and background pictures, uses of audio files, good explanation but they didn't have a good introduction for their group and they did not show the source of information.
The orange group researched about Bon Jovi. From their presentation, it was clear they did a good research but there was no good use of media like images, music and bad introduction of their group.
This topic has helped us to understand the genre and their pioneers. |
