In this seminar we looked at the genre "PUNK".

key factors within the genre:

1.Roots are back from the Garage Band scene of 1965-68 (U.S)

2.There were short lived band careers.

3.Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne ran a clothes shop in London, which had an influence on Londerns regarding fashion establishment for the genre.The Sex Pistals were regular customers.

4.British Punk was more aggressive than NEW York PUNK.

5.The media portrayed the artists and fans into the genre as Folk Devils, there was a public outrage.
