Hi there fellow reason maniacs
I am not sure if this is the right topic/forum as I am not sure if the problem is about reason or sound card. I am not even sure if there is really a problem. When selecting the audio card driver, I have these options:
-ASIO Direct X Full Duplex Driver
-ASIO Multimedia Driver
-DX Fast Track Pro
-MME Fast Track Pro
and
-M-Audio USB ASIO
The problem is I cannot select M-Audio USB ASIO as it has a big red cross on it. The same thing happens in Native Instruments Traktor (as I have written before). So, is there any problem or am I supposed to select another driver in the first place.
It says eager beaver but it looks like I am still a newbie |

Actually I could not use it at all, when I first installed it, so I completely uninstalled and reinstalled it. The strange thing is that now I can use it with any software; reason, traktor or cubase. I did not have any problems even when recording guitar in cubase, although I use its instrument inputs. Its just that, I cannot select M-Audio USB ASIO as a driver, everything else is okay. As I said, I am still not sure if I really have a problem. Thanks for your concern anyway. |

Have a check with the recommendations on the Reason website. It may not be possible with that one, or a conflict with the others you have installed. _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.
