I reckon that in the future, repairing (or replacing) hearing will be the first to come, as opposed to artificial sight. so i suppose however much id hate not being able to hear, u could live more freely as deaf than blind, especially as hearing aids etc. are becoming so much better nowadays.

Maybe, but I dont think so! I can't imagine living without sounds, there is no world or life without them! Yeah it wouldn't be very nice to lose either of them, but I'd rather lose my sight. Imagine not listening to music or playing the piano or drums - no not possible for me! |
