| What laptop? |

Can I get some advice? I need a laptop.
I want to start recording myself, my school band, my band, choirs etc. There might be some live work too at some point, and eventually I'd like to run my own home studio where I could record local bands for a fee, with hopes of turning professional after unversity.
In the here and now though I have a problem. I have shared access to good PC, but its positioning makes it impossible to record on. As space in my house is limited at the minuite, and being portable would be a major plus, I'm trying to find a laptop.
Unfortnatly I'm not technologically gifted, and I could do with getting sarte fairly soon, which doesn't give me time to learn a huge abount before beginning. I think I'm going to have to change the soundcard of whatever I get, and I have some techie friends who could help me out with any other things that need to be done at a later date.
Also, my funds are such that really I can't afford to dedicate it solely to recording- I'd need to run Microsoft office, have internet access and also Sibelius on it too.
Can anyone recommed something in the region of £900? (preferable laptop+soundcard) |
