Waves Sound Shifter.  Reply with quote

When I use the Waves Sound Shifter on tracks the effected audio for some reason gets behind everything else. In fact if I pull the Sound Shifted file over 1/16 it matches up with everything else perfectly.

Do you know why this is happening? I guess its not too big of a problem becuase I can manually fix it, it is just kind of a pain doing it everytime.

Delay Compenasation  Reply with quote

Plugins are meant to process real time, but in reality they don't. They do take a while to process the data which passes through them and it usually isn't audible. This can be fixed if something known as 'delay compensation' is enabled in your audio software. Most decent DAWs have delay compensation.. but just under diffferent names..
