Hi Absaloot,
i listened through to one of the tracks on there. im listening on studio monitors but to me the mix sounded a bit flat. wat i mean is it lacked mid range depth and punch. the kick could do with being fattened up and rounded out to fit better with the genre of your songs.
also i would look at boosting the low-mids of the vocals, around 400hz or slightly lower to give it a bit more warmth and depth. for the lead vocals try adding some 1.5k, or around that area to help it cut through the mix a bit better and cut out some 4-7k to get rid of the sibilant over-airy quality.
hope that helps as a starting point _________________ If In Doubt...Hit It With a Hammer, If Still In Doubt... Find a Bigger Hammer. |
