Synchronizing tracks  Reply with quote

I just transferred 8 tracks of drums from a multitrack to AA 1.5. I recorded them one at a time via S/PDIF. Since they were brought in individually, they are slightly out of synch. Does anyone have any tips on getting all tracks to be at the same spot at the same time?
Thanks!

Zoom in quite heavily... use right-mouse button to hold track and move it back and forth until it gets in place...

Kind Regards,

Well other than just zooming in you could select one of the tracks (e.g. kick) to be the "master" to which you couls sync the remaining tracks.
I think this would be much easier than just zooming in and trying to sync tracks based on the waveform. but yes, minor corrections would require you to zoom in considrebaly.
